Allura USA was founded in 2014, with the merger of the siding, and roofing divisions of two companies at the top of their field in manufacturing, and distributing fiber cement exterior building products. Plycem’s 50+ years in the industry combined forces with Certainteed’s 75+ years to form Allura, a subsidiary of the renowned global building materials manufacturer Elementia. Based in Texas, Allura’s products are also manufactured in Indiana, North Carolina, and Oregon. The growing business has 13 plants in total, and plans to continue expanding after winning the title of “Siding of the Year” by Peninsula Publishing Building Products Brand Survey.
Allura’s fiber cement products look like natural wood, but are resistant to fire, insect damage, moisture, and fading, and require minimal time and expense to maintain. Offering fiber cement siding, shingles, and trim products, Allura’s fiber cement products can also withstand warping, splintering, cracking, and denting, and are specially formulated to tolerate weather extremes in any climate. Fiber cement architectural panels are also available, which can be patterned to look like stucco, seamless cedar, or grooved cedar. Allura fiber cement, is a National Green Building Standard product and the only fiber cement siding to guarantee contribution to LEED credits on every building project. All Allura products are also covered by a 50-year warranty.
