    Architectural Metal Roof

Englert Metals offers a number of architectural metal roofing systems. If you’re considering this type, you’ll be able to choose from:

    • A1000 (1 Snap-Lock Roof System) – This cost-effective metal roofing system uses concealed clips and fasteners. The roof panel can be notched and bent for a smooth transition from roof to mansard or fascia.
    • A1100 (1 1/4 Snap-Lock Roof System) – This series is a 1¼” high standing seam metal roof system. The snap-lock metal roof panel helps to create clean roof lines with minimum textures and shadows.
    • A1101 (1″ Integral Snap-Lock Roof System) – This series combines the clean lines of a low profile roofing system with the versatility of clipless hidden fastener design.
    • A1300 (1 Mechanically Seamed Roof System) – These panels have the same architectural detailing capabilities as snap-lock metal roof panels. They’re ideal for walls, fascia, and soffits, and they’re required for shallow sloped metal roofs (ones that are less than 3”/12”.
    • A1301 (1 Mechanically Seamed Roof System) – This series is a 1” mechanically seamed roofing system that offers the same detailing capabilities as snap-lock roofing panels. They’re perfect for soffits, fascia, and walls, and they shallow sloped metal roofs should be using them.
    • A1500 (1 1/2″ Integral Snap-Lock Roof System) – This series panel is a 1½” high integral snap-lock system with a narrow batten seam that snaps over a rigid, continuous interlock leg. This creates a rugged, but visually-appealing roofing system.
    • A2000 (1 3/4″ Integral Snap-Lock Roof System – This series panel is a 1¾” integral snap-lock metal roof system. This is actually one of Englert’s most popular metal roofing panels. It combines versatility with increased spanning and uplift capabilities.

    Structural Metal Roof

Structural metal roofs by Englert also have a variety of options. Structural Englert metal roofing panel types include:

    • S2000 – This series panel is a 1¾” integral snap-lock metal roof system. It’s one of Englert’s most popular roofing systems, combining versatility with increased spanning and uplift capabilities.
    • S2400 – This series panel is a 2” mechanically seamed system. It’s one of the strongest mechanically seamed systems that’s available in both single- and double-lock details. This type of panel can also be radius curved.
    • S2500 – This series panel is also a 2” mechanically seamed roofing system. It’s designed as a structural roof for pre-engineered buildings, and it has a history of over 70 years in the field.
    • S3000 – This series panel is a 3” deep structural roofing system. It’s designed to provide excellent structural spanning capabilities that ensure a weathertight seam even in the lowest, longest roof runs.

    Curved Panel Metal Roof

Curved panel metal roof systems from Englert have two options for property owners to choose from. They include:

    • C2400 – This series panel is a 2” mechanically seamed roofing system. It’s one of the strongest metal roof systems that’s available in both single and double-lock details. This allows increased spanning capabilities. This type of panel can also be radius curved.
    • C1300/1301 – These curved metal roof systems are at 1½” tall, and they’re designed to accommodate walkway covers and arched canopies. Although they are rugged in design, they need a solid deck for installation.

    Soffit Systems

You’ll also have two options for soffit systems. Your choices include:

    • E-375 (3/8″ Deep-V-Groove Soffit) – This soffit panel series is available in solid or vented styles, and it offers easy installation, quality functionality, and beautiful aesthetics. Concealed fasteners and unobtrusive seams offer a snug fit between panels.
    • B4000 – This flush interlock panel system is a weather-resistant, smooth soffit surface that’s available in a variety of colors. It has a uniform and aesthetically-pleasing appearance. With unobtrusive seams and concealed integral fasteners, you won’t need additional clips or mechanical seaming.

    • Durability – Metal roofs are already known for their durability but Englert roofs take it to another level. While most asphalt shingle roofs can be relied on to last for about 20-25 years, some Englert metal roofs can reach a lifespan of more than 100 years!
    • Longevity – As we stated above, Englert metal roofs can last for over a century. This also means they provide good warranties. Visit their website to learn more about Englert metal roof warranty.

    Cons of Englert Metal Roofing

Englert may be a fantastic metal roofing brand, but it’s not without its disadvantages. Here are the main reasons why people opt for other choices:

    • Expensive to install – Since it’s more durable and lasts much longer than asphalt shingles, metal roofing is also more expensive to install. The initial cost turns many homeowners off. However, purchasing an Englert metal roof may be the more cost-effective option in the long run because of how long they’re designed to last.

    Installation Tips

Englert has an installation guide you can find on their website that has all types of Englert metal roofing details. Whether you’re curious to see how it’s done or you’d like to complete it yourself, the guide will be very helpful.

Some basic metal roofing installation tips include:

    • Always prioritize safety. Wear a helmet, gloves, and the appropriate footwear.
    • Make sure no low branches or electrical wires are hanging over the roof.
    • Secure your ladder and test it to make sure it won’t shift under your weight.
