ATAS offers standing seam and batten seam roof systems, as well as metal shingles, shakes, and tiles. Its standing seam roof panels are solar-ready, making it easy to attach photovoltaic systems without roof penetrations. Where possible, ATAS roofing products are also coated with a cool pigment paint that reflects infrared radiation. This allows the color to appear the same but keeps the material cooler, lowering the building’s interior temperature and reducing bills for air conditioning. Certain ATAS roofing systems also incorporate above-sheathing ventilation, which can significantly reduce roof and attic temperatures. By allowing cool air to flow through a space between the roofing deck and panels, above-sheathing ventilation can reduce heat gain by up to 45%.
